While we have deep grief over closing the EBOC faith community, we have even greater joy over the experiences we've shared with so many of you! We are not sustainable as a new church effort built on service by ALL and with ALL. Over the last six years we had many more volunteers than worshippers.

We've worked shoulder-to-shoulder and met eye-to-eye, treating every single person as an equal child of God, inclusive of political perspectives, social-economic status, sexual identification and religions or lack there of.

We have been a witness (demonstrator) of a small part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in this area called Grace Presbytery.
We highly recommend visiting our faith family over at Trinity Presbyterian Church, their new pastor, Rev. Betsy Lockhart has much in common with us!

Peace be with you.
-Shane, Pat
and your friends at EBOC.

East Broad Outreach Community built on previous new church efforts in this location was a new way to attempt growing a new congregation... through service by ALL for ALL. Shane and Pat, a Presbyterian clergy couple, were asked to lead this vision in late 2010.
Literally hundreds of adults and children from all walks of life walked with us a while or passed through with Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts on this property and in our worship, peace gatherings, spring break day camps and summer day camps. All are a blessing.
